Sonia M. Rocha-Sanchez, MS, MBA, PhD

Dr. Rocha-Sanchez is the Vice President & Co-founder of F&S Medical Solutions. She is a trained Cytogeneticist and tenured Professor of Human Physiology and Biomedical Sciences in the Department of Oral Biology at the Creighton University School of Dentistry, where she also serves as the Assistant Dean of Research. She graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Biological Sciences (UFAC, Brazil), an M.S. in Genetics (UFV, Brazil), a Ph.D. in Cell and Structural Biology and Population Cytogenetics (UNICAMP, Brazil; UGr, Spain), and a Master of Business Administration (MBA) (Heider College of Business, Creighton University). Dr. Rocha-Sanchez has completed two post-doctoral fellowships in Population Genetics and Neuroscience. Currently, she leads an active research program at the Creighton University School of Dentistry. Moreover, she contributed to several founded Small Business Technology Transfer (STTR) grants and served as a consultant in a variety of medically-relevant technology transfer projects. Along with Dr. Michael Feloney, she has funded F&S Medical Solutions to translate their ideas into real products to address the many limitations in women's medical care.
